Holmegaard Annual Glass Christmas Decorations 2026
Each year, Holmegaard, Denmark's oldest and best-known glassworks, produces collectible Christmas decorations, and this year glass artist Ann-Sofi Romme continues the tradition with a design revisiting the woven Christmas heart, recreated in new colours and shapes for 2026. They're limited editions, so once they're gone, they're gone, which makes them hugely popular as gifts and with collectors building their set year on year. We have the star, heart and bird, but our favourites are probably the Bauble and the Bell.

Kahler Church Tower candleholder.
Part of Kähler's striking Urbania Lighthouse collection of porcelain buildings, the Church Tower celebrates the most distinctive architecture in our cities, its tiny and long, narrow hand-carved windows glowing when lit from within by a single tealight. It's a clean, modern take on a traditional silhouette, lovely on its own or grouped with other Urbania buildings to build your own skyline.
Iconic Swedish snowball votives.
You can't have a traditional Nordic Christmas without a Kosta Boda snowball or two. Designed by Ann Wärff in 1973 and now Kosta Boda's all-time bestseller, the Snowball votive is inspired by traditional Swedish snowball lanterns that lit up winter nights, with a softly textured, irregular surface that catches candlelight beautifully. Available in small, medium and large, they look lovely grouped on a sideboard or scattered along a festive tablescape.

Nutcracker rotary candleholder.
A rotary candle holder is something of a nostalgic Swedish tradition. This one features Nutcrackers on parade with mistletoe and traditional decorations - light the tealight and watch the figures rotate, casting a soothing, flickering lighting across the room. It's a lovely gift to share with friends, and one of several styles we carry.
