Lyngby Tura Vase White Porcelain 14.5cm

Featuring the familiar grooved lines of the original Lyngby Vase, but with the addition of a curvaceous outline and slim, elegant neck, Philip Bro Ludvigsen's Tura design for Lyngby Porcelain is both a versatile piece and a wonderful interpretation of the timeless Scandinavian design classic, perfect for the contemporary home. Tura is perfect for fresh or dried floral arrangements and needs little added to make an impressive display.

Established in 1930s Denmark, Lyngby forged a significant reputation as one of the most highly regarded producers of quality Danish porcelain in the industry. While putting skilled craftsmanship at the forefront of their endeavours, a desire by the founders of the brand to harness new manufacturing techniques led to the growth of a name that now holds a valuable place in Danish design history. Challenging the conventional focus on decoration and embellishment, Lyngby became masters of classic, elegant minimalism, bringing their respect for artistry and material together with a drive for perfect design resulting in an abundance of functional pieces celebrating clean, industrial lines and beautiful sculptural simplicity. Relaunched in 2012, Lyngby Porcelain has lost nothing of its unique quality and appeal - the quintessential Lyngby Vase is a modern classic, once again available for lovers of quality Scandinavian design.

As a finishing touch, a hand-printed green monogram is applied to the bottom of each Lyngby Porcelain product, indicating a high-quality item and a design icon fit to become an heirloom.
